Ohio Man Made $4000 While Doing His Laundry
A great story came to us from TJ Turnet in Hicksville, Ohio. Turns out TJ made $4000
while doing his laundry. TJ said he stumbled onto the Cash Awards promotion when his
Maytag washer finally gave out. “Looking back now that was the best breakdown I ever
had.”, he says with a sly smile. You see TJ didn’t know it then but as he drove to the local
laudrymat with Allison, his precious 7 years daughter, TJ was about to earn more on his
day off than he had the entire previous month.

while doing his laundry. TJ said he stumbled onto the Cash Awards promotion when his

TJ remembers how it all started, “I was just sitting their looking at a magazine when a lady next to me
said something like, she’ll be glad when she gets a house with a washer and dryer. I just said ‘yep’
cause I didn’t know her and I don’t like small talk anyway.”
“As I flipped through the pages I remembered that referral program and I thought that would be a nice
way to give her some information and just let her know I did hear her. And who knows maybe it will
help her get her home with a laundry”
As the lady left I mentioned the Cash Awards website and my name and number down and gave it to
her. And said this website has companies that have houses- you might want to check it out.” TJ
laughs, You’d think I gave her the key to the city. She was so excited.” TJ did the more or less the
same thing twice more that same day and as it turned out 2 of those three referrals did business with
a Merchant listed with the Cash Awards promotion. That one day netted TJ $850.00.
“I could not believe it,” he reflects back on it, “…when I got the money I thought it was a mistake. I
mean I only spent two hours at the laundry mat and maybe 5 minutes taking to 3 people about the
website. And you mean to tell me I earned $850 bucks?” TJ, a union electrician, said in amazement, “I
make OK money on my day job but I haven’t ever seen this before!”
It Gets Better….
It turns out little Allison picked up on the fact that daddy can help people if they need something. “It
was totally out of the blue. The next week at the laundry mat Allys’ playing with some kid and hears the
dad talking on the cell phone something like,’ well, we need a good mortgage broker’. I guess Ally
said, ‘My daddy knows people who can do that.’ TJ stops in mid sentence and declares, “I swear I
didn’t put her up to it!”
“So the dad hollered over and asked if I was in the loan business. I was confused at first and then he
told me what Ally said. I said ‘Oh ya, let me get your name and number and I send it in. The guy was
really appreciative.” 3 weeks later TJ got another cash award only this time he split it with Ally. “I told
her she did good and we’ll put the money in a savings for that new Playstaion she wants”
